What car should I buy?

I'm going to be buying a new car in the spring!! So help me out and make some suggestions.

1. I will be spending around 5k give or take.

2. Has to be hatchback. Reason being I like the look and they're a lot easier to get loud.

3. Good MPG is must something around 30mpg city 35mpg hwy give or take.

So really I'm looking for something around 5k, sleek hatchback look, great mpg, and reliable. I don't care about speed, I'm into audio, exterior and interior design. I currently drive a civic hatch and I'm almost thinking about getting another civic just because how reliable it is.

So far I've been looking into a ford focus but all I've gotten is mixed reviews on them. So if you have any first hand experience on a focus let me know.

Look for a used VW Golf TDI. Killer mileage. I had one and I liked it, it was just too small for me. I drove the hell out of it and it got about 45mpg around town with an auto *****.

If you took it easy and went with the manual, you should see 50+ around town. Might be tough with that price range though.

Well thats good to hear. They also sell for a really good price I would be able to get a fairly new one a 2006.

Toyota celicas are sexy as hell, especially if you're into interior/exterior mods. They get great gas mileage too. A bit more than 5k though.
