What can prevent my box from sliding?

i use wheel chokes that are meant for cars.

i have one or more sit flush at the edges of my box.

its also convient if you work on your car as well. just pop the trunk and put the wheel choke behind your tire before you jack your car up.

Attach that monster with some L brackets, bolts, or something. Imagine what would happen to you, if you were in an accident. a 50lb loose object in your trunk probably won't stay in your trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm lucky enough to have my box inbetween two seats, that thing isn't moving. lol

The first box I built I made a hole in the bottom piece just big enough to fit a lag bolt and it held just fine, put silicon and stuff around it and it should be fine just don't move your box a bunch ;P. And as others have said velcro and L brackets.

buy big *** bolts from home depot. lay your box in your trunk without the sub mounted. and then drill the F**K outta the bolts in the box. then mount the sub. it provides security and holds your box in place tightly.

i bought a 4 foot section of 1"x1/8" aluminum and made 2 of my own brackets. i screwed it in 3 times to the box and then bolted it to the deat support bolts. when i tryed to yank it out the box only one day i couldnt.
