What box for hdc318?

What kind of space and tuning do these subs like? Also t he general rule of thumb is 12-15in^2 of port per ft^3 correct? I also have about 8ft of 6in PVC, could I use that?

i've had good result with them in 5 - 6 ft3... tuning depends on your application... for a burp box, i would tune high 40's low 50's, for a daily, around 35 is a good tune

In 7 cubes with 2my -6" AEROS tuned to 32 off an aq3500@.5 the older amp we did mid to high 48's in an extended cab truck on music peaking right at 42

A friend of mine had one in 6.5 cubes tuned to 35hz for daily and it pounded. I was very impressed by it.

i have nine in a 5.6cube box. i really want to re do mine. playing music my best is like 46.5 constant but i could prolly pull 47+ on a burp.

I've seen anywhere from 5.5-7 cubes. I'd do ~6 at 34 hz.

ok with aero ports. i have a 8in. do you think a 6cube box with the 8in would work. im not sure what i would need to tune to is the problem. i do a daily driver type comp. no burps. its constant average play. if that info helps. just tryna get a tunning idea

Use the power of the aero brother and get loud its easy to cut volume hard to add start at 7least test then start adding wood inside to cut the volume down til you get optimal score.

i have a blazer so i think im pretty good. im only doing a 46.5 with the slot/lport tho.i figured id be doing alil better then that. but idk. i was thinking my port was a bit big. it was a 8in x 17in lport but i cut it down to 6in. i havnt ran it as 6in yet tho. but idk if it would help much by doin that. but i guess it was worth a try

idk. blazers are usually like 37hz i think
