What bmx bike is worth over 2000 dollars?

Bike Specs

Picture is not my bike, just one that is the same model.

I spent about $700-900 (IDR Exactly, But I think the bigger frame was 900 and I got the smaller one because I'm short, and that was when I was 13) back in 2006 for the bike, but it isn't stock, I have around 2k more invested in parts (I didn't spend that, sponsor discounts)

Trying to find stuff online, its a lot harder than back in the day, lol. I was sponsered by Bombshell and had just about every part on my bike bombshell outside of the frame, which was the Haro SX Pro.

Rims - $380

Pedals - $150

Shoes - $200 I don't think these are the shoes I have, but the price is about right

Handlebars - $139

Crank - $300

I didn't buy everything at once, my bike was completely built and I upgraded as I got sponsors and money. All the bombshell parts were 50% of retail price. I also had many more custom parts like bearings, seats, chains, hubs, spokes, sprockets, stems, nipples. Really, the only non custom part of my bike was the frame.

I was pretty hard core into it, and would have went pro if not for fracturing my knee when I was 15. I really haven't gotten back into it sense. Knee still bugs me from time to time when the seasons change //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif, back does too. I was going to try to get back into it 2 or 3 years ago, but the only track in the QC is made of concrete and wood, which terrifies me, so I didn't. I don't think it is ABA certified either, so I'd be racing for pretty much nothing.

back in the day i have a mint pro gt performer ( the highest model ) fucker was like over 3grand then.

i was like 14 when i got that. had it for a few moths before i traded it for a honda 125 dirtbike.

but loved that bike.

but never did figure out why there were so expensive.. it was just a bike.

but me its all about my truck. thats my hobbie.

Material. I'd be willing to bet it was some sort of titanium alloy. Man, titanium is expensive. I wanted titanium parts, bombshell made them, but it was just so flippin expensive, even with my 50% off. Carbon Fiber was the next best thing. GT is also a very expensive brand and you pay a premium for the name, like Redline. Haro wasn't the top notch brand back then, but my back has a really nice aluminium alloy and is very light. I can easily pick it up and throw it across the yard or further.... If I had to compare the weight, I'd say it ways as much or less than an average brick, maybe 2 but I doubt it? Its less then 5 LBs I think, definitely not 10 pounds, my cats weight more than my bike.
