I carry an Older Buck 3" blade most of the time.Always razor sharp, and keep a dab oil on it just enough keep the blade coated
I'm actually looking at a cheaper buck (USA Made). They seem to be good knives.

Leatherman Wave
I thought about a multi tool, but I generally don't need to worry about needing a specific tool immediately since I'm in the office most days.

Its very heavy, and the blade is really thick, and has lasted a very long time..Been a very good knife..Old Timer makes a great knife as well,or they used too. I havent bought any knives for past 6 years..Used to have a collection of over 1200 at one time..But Bucks are very reliable, and hold up well.

I carry Taurus compact .45 with a 12 round magazine, when I am off duty, for a knife I carry a cold steel voyager tanto. Large version when in civilian clothes, I have the extra large version, for when I am in uniform. Carry a 4th gen glock 19 when on duty.

Id really like to look into an all around good survival type knife.I have several that will get the jobs done in the woods that I need to, but would really like to get a one in all knife..Saw, Cut,Skin, ect knife that holds a nice edge
