what are the things you look for when choosing a sub?

Assuming that you currently don't look at specs and ratings, do you choose subs solely based on size and looks?

I look at RMS, and Peak,DB level,HTZ,Coil size, Cooling,and the recommended CU.Ft>needed.,as well as Reliability/reviews of woofers/performance.I try to buy USA made subs mainly...Keeping it Home,my next line will be a choice of FI, or PSI
