Most people don't mention DDs or Juggs on this forum. Both are nice SPL subs which I wouldn't mind. Not sure you can get amazing prices on them but nice SPL monsters.

Why is the Hard Kore winning a majority of spl contests this year? I dont doubt the DD is bad a$$ but to come out and say it whoops MA a$$?

I know im prolly gonna get run out of here for suggesting anything but XXX, Brahmas or w7's but me being the Audiobahn Freak that i am I would go for a Linear Compression or Pro Compression sub run by a A2300HCT that would cost u about 2 grand alone though. But for 1 grand i would go with an 18001DT running the linear Compression sub, around $1250 - $1400.

scary talking of a company such as audiobahn. They are quite nice. I also love ECLIPSE titaniums for this job. matched to a jl amp, or an XTANT that would be one sweet sounding completly wowing setup for me. but , hey little companines are good. MAs blow ass and sound like crap, Audiobahns can sound good but are usally just loud I use the SQ sub or theirs ALUM12Q. but the eclipse is a beauty of rareity and delight a sound fiend if you will. and there is almost no cmparison to the JL or Xtant amp except an ARC audio amp. wooooo that would be a delight.

single sub setup... JL 12W7 with properly made enclosure and an Orion 1200D or 13W7 with a 2500D, the 2500D would really rock a 13W7 though and it would be ALOT better sound and louder than the Orion H2 subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

there is always a comparison to JL.....JL makes very good stuff. or at least the w6v2 and the w7 and all their amps. they make very good amps and those 2 subs are amazing...just VERY overpriced.
