Boomin as someone who is disabled, yes that happens. As someone who drives a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT with Disability Plates I park there every time if I can. NOW there is days where I Do NOT have to use my cane and even then I use the spot because I can not walk long distances after 28 or so knee surgeries. It just isn't possible, I wish it was because after 95 surgeries and the hell I have been through almost dying several times in the past 9.5 years. I would MUCH rather be working still making the 60K I could be making working at the Mack Dealership. Heck before I left in 2004 I was making 39.5K and I would have been there for just over 18 years and I know the guy who started at the same time as me, who wasn't anywhere near as good as I was is just under 60K. I'd rather have that compared to the 1,100 I get now for disability.I swear every time I see these so called handicapped people parking their fancy ****** car/ giant SUV in the handicap parking spot such as Wal Mart or Target, there's nothing wrong with them. See them walking normal like the rest of us. I'm almost positive their either taking advantage of the system or using one of their family members who are really handicapped and just using it for their advantage.
So some yes do take advantage but then there are some like myself who is 42 and does look normal on rare occasions. If they are extremely young then by god say something, unless they are driving with said other person in the car with them of course. Some have something wrong that you can't see either that makes it hard for them to walk or breathe.
Sadly though there is too many people that take advantage and ruin it for people like myself who need the help, deserve the help and then we get punished by the state and federal governments because of those who lie and cheat their way to their benefits.
