I deliver pizza. Tonight I took a delivery to a place that doesn't show up in the computer so management has to fudge the address so we can take the order. That's all well and good but to fudge the order they put in our stores address which give the driver .8 miles for mileage. We get paid mileage to help with gas. My Jeep is such that they pay me 33 cents per mile. I tell them I will reset my GPS and let them know the exact mileage when I return. They say ok. 11 miles was the number. I tell them, they say no, the computer says it is 8 miles round trip. I say the computer is wrong, I took the most direct and only route via the public roads and it is EXACTLY 11 miles round trip. They say well we can only pay you what the computer says. I told them that they are stealing from us then because the computer is WRONG, I have proof because my GPS shows the EXACT door to door mileage. They say show us. So I grab my GPS, turn it on and show them. I said see? They still said no and said they would speak to the owner and see what he says. At this point I am pissed because they are most likely f*****g us on most deliveries. Then I drop my GPS, crack the f*****g screen and $135 later I have a new damn GPS. f*****g assholes. That's $.99 on that run they fucked me out of... if they do that every run all night long that 10's of dollars and or more every day, couple hundred every month potentially a couple of grand each year. Mother f**k!!
