What amp?

I have a 12 inch Kenwood shallow mount subwoofer http://www.crutchfield.com/s_113KFCW...12.html?tp=111

in a truck box and I have some tis ebay amp powering it and I don't think I'm getting the right power. Which amp should i get? The sub says 350 watt rms.

I don't see why that amp won't power that sub. With 75a worth of fusing it should do around 600 watts bridged (estimate) drawing 75 amps worth of current at 12.8 volts.. Unless one or two of the fuses are dummy fuses and it's actually fused at 25a...lol

Do you have all the filters and the gain set on the amp properly ?

 
I have 8 gauge going to the capicator and 9 going to the amp (or vise versa) scosche brand lol, and what do you mean set properly? I have the bass bost lpf and gain almost turned all the way up. Do you think its the wireing?

 
And the proublem, is I don't think its as loud as it should be. I heard it at bestbuy and it was alot louder and sounded better.

So you have everything cranked to the max...lol

It could very easily be the wiring. Try switching around the speaker wires to see if that helps. Also what size is the ground wire ?

 
Yeah i pretty much have it cranked haha and I'll try that soon and the ground is 9 and 8 gauge too and its grounded to my seat post
