What amp should I buy?

I am a new member to the forum so in case i have posted this in a wrong section, please don't judge me.

Anyways, I will go straight to the point, I have a subwoofer ( 12 INCH JBL, 1000Wats ).



Can you guys please give me some advice what cheap amplifier I could get for this box, I would appreciate any help !

Need to know what ohm or ohms your woofer is. Like single 4ohm? Dual 4ohm?

And what brands do you have over in United Kingdom?

just about any monoblock or some two channels on the market will power that sub. Just avoid boss, pyle, pyramid, lanzar, crunch, autotek or power acoustik. Just match the ohm load.

Lanzar opti are decent. All metal ones. Not the ones with plastic end caps

Guys, I have to say sorry that I didn't stated that I am fairly fresh on the whole audio systems in cars. All I have learned so far is just how to connect subwoofer. I am trying to look information online but, to be honest I cant find much about how many ohm's this sub has. Im not sure of the brands either but I would assume, it would be similar to USA. Could you guys maybe drop me any links to any amps who could use 100% of this subwoofer. we are not gonna get anywhere unless you find out the ohm load of the sub. there's basic info all over google to find this info out man.

I found out on some foreign website ( don't understand their language) but it shows that there is 4 ohm's single voice coil on this subwoofer !

you might want a 2 channel amp and bridge the two channel amp then make sure the amp has a low pass filter option.

Power bass asa series might be within your budget. PPI phantom 600.2 is a good one as well.

That is a jbl cs1214. It is single 4 ohm. Any amp that does 250-300 watts bridged will work.
