What amp should I buy for my system ? Maximum budget $400...

Anyone else thoughts on Infinity KAPPAFIVE

Is it good or bad for the money (about $300) and how does it compare to the competition in the same price range ?

My choice of the two would be Alpine,for one, a bit more for front staging, as well as a bit smaller/space saving, and Alpines have always been some great quality built amps since the early 90s,.I still have some, and they are still working excellent,and great quality.

That sums it up. I found a good deal too. The one on amazon is for about $280 with free shipping. But its not directly from amazon so amazon's awesome return policy does not apply to it. I found it at ebay for 245+free shipping brand new and i can add 3 year square trade warranty for 35. I would end up buying the same amp for $280 with three years square trade warranty and ebay protection plan.

What do you think ?

I think thats a hell of a deal..3yr warranty is unheard of.I think you will be just fine/happy with that choice.Just my opinion,
