What amp is right?

I have a 2002 Ext. Cab Chevy truck *my avatar* and i am goin' to put 2 JL Audio 10W3v2-D4's under the rear seat (each in its own .74 cu. ft. sealed enclosure) and i looked at a 2008 Alpine MRP 600W 4-channel amp as a possible option to power the JL's. The subs are 300W/RMS and 4-ohm. The amp (when bridged) is said to put out 300W/RMS through each leg as well as have a steady 4-ohm resistance level. If i'm readin' the specs on it right i'm thinkin' it's a great combination but i would just like a few other opinions before i buy it.

Depending on what your goal is with the system I would personally throw a little more power to the w3's. Ive ran a few different sizes of them and they are underrated. but 300w a piece will get them moving for sure.

Well i listen to just about every kind of music except for pop, techno, bluegrass, and gospel. Mainly hard rock and rap though. I want the subs to be heard and felt but just not so much that they overpower my high and midrange sounds. None of the stuff in my truck is expensive but it definitely sounds good. A lot of ppl bash on Sony XPlod stuff but those 3-Way components sound VERY clear and VERY distinctive.....i just don't want to buy the subs and amp combo that will detract from that. Just a nice clean sounding system with a good "thump" when i need it.
