Well I'm sure those T1's can handle more than 600 each so look into a Kicker zx1500.1 or sundown 1500d depending on what impedence the subs are.

What are impedence? like 4 ohm voice coils? I don't know much. My brothers stuff, he hooked up. Only thing that is mine is speakers, speaker amp, and head unit.

Yeah. Find out if they are dual 2 or 4. If they're dual 2 get the Kicker, if they're dual 4 get the Sundown. Both can be had for $350 shipped or under, used.

Do not use both the 300/4 and the 1000/1. NO. DO NOT DO IT.

That's not how it works.

What kind of budget are you working with? You can get the power for those subs fairly easily and somewhat inexpesively.

Pick up a Hifonics 1606 or something similar that will give you 14-1500 at 1ohm. You'll enjoy from that point on. Thanks.

550 or less for just one amp?

Buy a Fosgate Power 1000.1 if you want to spend the money. Great little amp and will do 1200+ rms at 1ohm according to their birthsheets.

There's a million other options though man, really there are, if you're willing to open up your eyes a little bit.

So at 550 you want a component amp and a sub amp, or just the sub amp?

Try to get both. Will a JL spit out about 1200 RMS. Thats all i really want. My mom is freaking out about having TWO 12's in my car. Shes been through this stage with my brother, and now I'm in it and getting even louder.

Unfortunately no. Jl's put out pretty much exactly 1000w. What makes them so expensive is their ability to produce 1000w at a wide variety of impedences and voltages....not to mention it's JL and everything they make is expensive.

Yeah, expect right at 1000-1050 out of the JL.

If you want more, you need to explore other options.

You can find a very cheap alternative, such as a Hifonics, that would work just fine and be a ton cheaper than the 1000/1 ever thought about being.

I say in your price range

Pick up an RD 1750.1 and an RD 85.4 or a Sundown 1500D and 100.4

Could possibly get either combo used for 550 or less. Great amplifiers. Stretching it to get both at that price, however.
