What am I Doing Wrong?!

when using a scope, youre setting the gain pretty safely
Yep, and from my testing the difference in output is substantial, I would recommend you my mentioned method to experience it for yourself so you know im not b.s.ing you. It sounds like you may have already done this... try this with your scope on music too. I would use both methods and draw your own conclusion. Very little amplifier clipping while listening for the changes I mentioned will give you a superior view of this whole thing and optimize your system performance. should be a fun project if your into it. let me know what you thoughts are.

Hmmmmm that realy ***** since I had that one built and spent good money on it... but surely that isnt the only problem

lay the box down with the sub up and load the port on the side of the truck and see what it sounds like.

also does your Hu have any type of cross over in it? turn it off and just use the one in the amp.

Having a single sub setup w/ the sub wired out of phase will not really effect the output. But having a 2 sub setup w/ 1 out of phase will cause all kinds of hell.

OP.

Please post pics of your enclosure installed in the vehicle.

I'm going to bet this is an enclosure design issue.

It doesnt as far as I know

One sec I trying to edit a pic of my old box sense I dont have one of the new one

Heres a very crude idea... the box in the pic is almost the same size as the new one

When I did it with my Comps they sounded horrible thou
actually if you flip the polarity of only the midbass on the drivers side (after the passive crossover) you can actually increase the midbass output and will help center the sound stage. acoustic cancellation can happen when your mid basses are aimed at each other. give it a shot to see if it works for you. It worked wonders in my truck.
