And in case Proxy the whiney moonbat bitch won't own up to his Democracy fuckup, or he tries to muddy the waters with another assine leftist argument:

The United States is, indeed, a republic, not a democracy. Accurately defined, a democracy is a form of government in which the people decide policy matters directly--through town hall meetings or by voting on ballot initiatives and referendums. A republic, on the other hand, is a system in which the people choose representatives who, in turn, make policy decisions on their behalf. The Framers of the Constitution were altogether fearful of pure democracy. Everything they read and studied taught them that pure democracies "have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths" (Federalist No. 10).

We don't have a direct democracy of course, but we do have a form of democracy. Calling it us a republic isn't wrong either, however. (though calling it a "Representative Republic" is redundant and makes you look like a *******) They're both virtually the same.

The facts disagree with you.

It's pretty obvious it's a revenue problem. If one month you're making $1,500 and spending $1,400 and the next month you're making $1,300 and spending $1,450, you have a revenue problem. But that's math. Do you understand math?
this is fvcking hilarious. if anything this proves the point that spending is too high, if you can't figure out why I'm saying this I can't help you sir.

If increasing taxes doesn't increase revenue, then how do we have income tax revenue in the first place? I'm not sure if you know anything about the world, but the income tax isn't even 100 years old. So at one point, taxes were raised in that the income tax was created. And it brings in revenue today. So if increasing taxes doesn't create revenue, how do we have revenue from income taxes?
Also, let's just see if we can find a base to go from here, Mr. Ego22. If one month you're making $1,500 and spending $1,400 and the next month you're making $1,300 and spending $1,450, do you have an income problem or and expenditure problem? Thanks.
Well...

if he is blowing 500 a month on blow and hookers, I would say he has a spending problem....

To answer that question honestly, we need to know what his bills are not just how much he is spending and what he is making.

On the list that I quoted earlier, all of that is FACT and can be proven along with what Holic posted. All FACTS and can be proven.

Billions of dollars is a good chunk of the debt, no way around it.

I find it very funny how you want something to be proven to you but then you turn around and say you do not have to prove any of you BS.

IMO, you have the elitist, holier than thou mentality that you and only you are right, have all the answers and can cure and fix everything.(again, typical of your side)

Well, you have provided no answers, have contradicted your self many times, have cured nothing and have no fixes for anything.

When you can't win in the arena of ideas so you resort to belittling and name calling.....very typical of your side.

Its funny how some can be so biased and just plain blind......

It shows that without the tax cuts for the rich (the green line) we wouldn't have debt let alone a debt crisis. Spending has shot up these past few years because of the recession (and same thing for revenue, it's much lower than normal because of the recession).

I can't prove a negative, nor do I have to. I can't prove something isn't there. I can't prove there isn't a flying spaghetti monster in the sky. Are you not getting the point here? Burden of proof dude. Since you're all so educated and I'm just a college idiot, you should understand this more than me, shouldn't you?

To me there is no such thing as a revenue problem. When talking about spending. When you are talking about spending, a govt should spend no more than it's revenue. Plenty of times on that map point out that we have been spending more than we have for actual revenue, that means debt in and of itself therefore one of the causes of debt is a spending problem.

I agree we do have a revenue issue and I do agree that that has everything to do with our economy, however debt is a result of spending more than you have, not getting more money so you can cover what you've been spending, and to be honest you and I both know if revenue goes up what do you think happens to spending???It's not gonna sit still or go down thats for sure.

With those things being said I do agree with you on the Green line point, that the tax cuts for the rich are helping to fvck us even more.

My point exactly.

I (we) gave you facts and proof of wasteful spending being part of our debt. But like you said, you dont have to because you CANT!!.

There is no proof that wasteful spending is not a part of the debt, this is why you can not offer any.

But we can offer proof and facts that it is part of the problem.

Now you seem to be taking a shot at my education, with out any facts .......very typical of your side.( your elite holier than thou is showing again)

But I will take that shot as a very big complement coming from you.

Thanks!
