Increasing tax rates has NEVER worked as a sustainable form of "real" revenue...the only way the feds can increase revenue is to get more people working and paying taxes...THAT is the only way revenue increases for the feds. And if you believe increasing taxes on "millionaires" will pay for all your goodies you have been promised, you are a complete idiot.

I'm against Welfare at a point.. If the person has been on it more than 18 months they should have to wait atleast double that before they can get back on it. Way to many people just lay up on Welfare instead of trying to find a job or getting a job that would give them the same amount or a bit more amonth. Thats what I am against. Also any kind of government assistance where someone is being paid should have to go through a Drug Screening process. not **** testing but hair sampling for upto 6 months back .

No answer is good enough for you, I learned that a long time ago. No matter how specific I get, its not specific enough. Just like my first-hand experience with govt over-spending isn't enough for you, since you have... wait for it... wait for it... not one single first-hand example of your own. The pot calling the kettle black Prox, your suggestions are based on interpretations of googled pie charts and democratic talking points. And your knowledge is based not on education, but on your second-to-none common sense. If you actually listened to me once in a while, instead of only reading what you want to see to find an angle to attack, you might realize you and I are not so far off as you think. Dont get me wrong, I think you are very misguided, you just dont take the time to digest my meaning in order to make coherent counter arguments. You are so busy stroking your ego, since you obviously think you possess an inhuman common sense, that you have closed your mind to alternate opinions and facts. They should atleast do that.. Do walk arounds cleaning up yards and stuff... I mean i'm not rich... I do okay... I've been on Welfare "foodstamps" before its the most degrading thing to ever go through... It made me want to work more albeit was more than 6 years ago and for I think 2 months or something like that was right after Hurricane Rita... I know people thats been on foodstamps for 10+ years with 5-8 kids, they won't work because they can make more off of Foodstamps and the check they get every month than working.. its **** like that, that has made me very Anti Government over the past 10 years... I just am tired of people wanting what other people have for nothing. I was poor growing up... I mean dirt poor. if you don't want more for yourself than that is your issue so quit bumming off everyone else.

All I had to do was say that too many people live off welfare as a permanent means of support, and you "implied" that Im against welfare as a whole. Making them work for that welfare, or even unemployment, would sure bring about a paradigm shift, wouldn't it? And maybe if people like Prox, who go to college on the govt's dime, were forced to work to at least partially earn that money while not in class, those people might gain a little perspective into what the real world is all about. Its pretty easy to sit in your govt funded dorm room and preach that someone else needs to be paying even more into the ante. The reason Prox hates our opinion so much is, deep down he knows he is a leach too, just like welfare families. He expects something for free, while demanding someone else pay out even more. Maybe if he volunteered at a homeless shelter regularly he wouldn't look like such a hypocrite...
