What 6.5 Component 's

I had the RE component speakers for my honda. They were just RE series and I contacted them and they are going to be out of stock for quite a while so I was curious what inexpensive 6.5 component speakers would sound just as good as these for under a 100 per pair.

Ehh... under $100 is pretty hard unless you're open to buying raw drivers and wiring actively.

I think the Pioneer REV's are sub $100 and apparently don't sound half-way terrible.

Just scour around, you never know what you might find.

What kind've amplification do you have to run your components? 2 or 4 channel amp? What HU?

If you have a 4-channel, you might be able to actively crossover a set of raw drivers if your amp has onboard x-overs and/or your HU has the power to do it -- but be warned, it is NOT for the easily-frustrated novice. Your speakers will sound like crap if not properly tuned, this much I can guarantee.

Pricewise, you should can expect to spend roughly the same amount, albeit much better drivers and w/o a set of passive crossovers.
