I have a Rockford Fosgate 451s amp that runs 225x2 watts rms at 2 ohm, and 115x2 watts rms at 4 ohm, and 450 watt bridged stable down to 4 ohm.
I currently have a polk momo mm12 in the momo enclosure but it doesn't satisfy me because it's a svc 4 ohm and it's not running loud enough, good sq though
I want to run 2 12 inch speakers in (4 ohm dvc) with a high effeciency(spl) and good sq. My price range is about 100-200$, mostly in the 150$ range would be good.
?QUESTION?
Would I be able to get 1 really good woofer(2 ohm dvc)in the 300$ range and wire it to my amp and have 2 ohm(stereo) playing instead of 4 ohm bridged(mono). If this is possible what kind of enclosure would I use?? Because most single 12 enclosures come with a single spring clip or a 5 way binding post,
would it be possible to independent wire it in a 2 ohm load?
A reply would really help, Thanks
