Wet kit has arrived! pix

Stock rear end for now. I have not ran it at the strip without nitrous yet, because im not done with the few boltons I have left to put on. The stock rear ends on these cars are pretty solid. I dont intend on spraying off the line though. I have a window switch on the way, so that I wont spray until 3k or more rpms have been reached.
was wondering about the ratio, because the vic is a relatively heavy car for strip purposes, and you will benefit more from a shorter rearend IMO

Here is an old vid of my bud thats been helping me. Stock motor run a while back with street tires. Not his best day, but a decent time with a bit of nitrous. He is currently doing an engine swap with the mach 1 mustang motor.

The vics are great once they get going, they just have a hard time getting it off the line. From a roll ive kept up, and beat many people I never thought I could have. Its definately a capable car.

I hope you weren't flooring it... that bitch is slow as fuck
Wasnt trying to go fast, as you can see, my tires were peeling out the whole time. Kind of hard to move when your tires are spining:crazy: The vid was for ment to let you hear what it sounded like in the drivers seat.

Hoping to run mid to higher 12s in the quarter once I get all my stuff on, then I play to make those numbers down over time with more mods. engine swaps, ect

I know. I have the same problem right now. Of course, that's because my car weighs 2500 lbs, is RWD, and its all wet here right now...

Rain drift = fun. Gotta do it at like 3am when nobody is out. Then all the lanes are yours for the playing.

Good motor, but heavy car.
If you're serious about the whole racing this you're gonna have to rip out back seats, etc.

Or is this just for fun?
Its just for fun. A few people I work with drug me into this hobby. Once she gets going, she can move pretty well. Same motor in the mustang gt Previous generation).

4.6's arent the most torque worthy motors out there, that is the depertment that they lack in, thus gettin up off the line. Also, opening it up with 2.5" pipes doesnt help that much, may raise hp but takes away from the torque you will see. I would personally have ran 2.25, which is what I will do to the cougar I have, with mid-mounted magnaflow that has the built in x-pipe
