werd viberating sound in subs.

i own 2 type S's and when the bass is a a certain amount of hz it starts to make a werd noise like a viberating rattling sound. its annoying bc its in an open area behind the seats and very easily heard. i think i might have f*** up the subs when i hooked them up the first time when i had the sws-1222Ds hooked up at 1 voice coil for like 2 days. could i have perminently messed up the sub????

very likely. especially if you gave them the RMS to the 1 VC. take them to a alpine dealer and have them listen. but dont tell them what you did......

are they in a ported enclosure? it could possibly be the subs bottoming out, otherwise, make sure nothing is slapping against the cone.

whats wrong with subs outside of them

not sounding right...

just get them to alpine or an alpine

dealer and let them listen to them...

did you get them at circuit city???

you could return them...

also... if you wanted to go buy some

at circuit city and then pack up the

broken ones and return them as the

new ones you just bought... you would

end up with new subs for free...
