2 12" jl w7 2 factory port 2 much for sq in mustang

new mustang gt 2005 running 2 koda 8" mid bass drivers in each door paired up with image dynamic competion c2 horns-havent decided on mid range for the kick panels. anyways do you think 2 jl 12" w7 in a factory spec ported would be too much for this system? i want this system to be loud as hell i listen to hard death metal. i want strong mid bass and super loud mid rangey highs(i want the singer to sound like he's screaming in my ear) thanx 4 any info

For midrange you'll want to check out Audax Pr170's. They are super efficient and one of the few midrange speakers capable of keeping up with horns.

subs get the IDMAX instead of JL's...

Why would you want your subs to run midbass? That's what midbass speakers are for, not subwoofers.

to "enhance" the mids the IDMAX would be

the way to go...

of course it goes without saying that

you need good mids to produce the mids...

ive just heard that the IDMAX is a great

driver for those who like to set their

x-over a little higher...
