went to my first comp sun and got metered

i was down in Reading, Pa on sunday for a local car show...i dont kno if anyone on here from pa heard about it but it wasnt nothing big...they had a stereo comp and ive never been to one before so i figured i would drive down and check it out...well long story short i killed the comp i hit a 149.8 i kno u guys will knock me and say bs this or bs that...but a local stereo shop from down there brang the mic im not sure what kind of mic it was though...i was pretty excited the closest one to me was a small 2 dr civic and he hit a 140.2...there was only about 60 cars in the whole show but it was decent...i had fun and i def look forward to competing now...my setup consists of 2 15" ed A's, 7.5 cu. ft. ported 35hz, running off of a viper 2500 in the back of a stock 98 blazer...everything is stock b/c this isnt the car the setup is going in, i am currently tryin to finish my 1990 blazer that im redoing...so hopefully the setup will be louder in the older blazer considering, i did the big 3, has a 200 amp alt, all 0 awg wiring and has 200 sq ft of sound deadener....

those blazers get hellaloud. i think its just the way the cars built.

a friend ofmine used to have one w/ some sony 12's and even those made the shit loud as fUck. good vehicle for loud systems IMO.

the mic was like a pole type that he set up on my passenger side and had it touching the windshield, i played a testone to hit 149 then i went back around the second time and played "burning up" by young jeezy off the cant ban the snowman cd and i hit a 148.5...my buddy that told me about the show took some pics and i think he might even have a video ill have to check with him for them...as soon as i get them ill post them...

yea thats what people have been tellin me, this isnt my first set up ever, i used to have a mazda b2000 with a single 15" stroker running off of a planet audio zetar...that got hellaloud heres a link...it was 4 cu ft tuned to 36 hz...i never had it metered b/c my truck ended up gettin stolen, fuc*in thiefs...
