One of the "big" brands around here, well at least this one shop, is Cadence. Yup....cadence. These guys talk all sorts of shit and never back any of it up. We ask if they wanna go on the meter and they say it's "rigged" by certain companies, or that the meter manufacturer "turned down" the mic so it reads lower. Needless to say, NONE of his customers are loud, no matter how hard they try. Not to mention everyone on their "team" are total asshats.

Lets not get into kick vs dash.. lol its just different, neither is better.

Oh, I know there is a difference, been doing this awhile myself...just dash is more 'widely' used...

one type R 12 did a 151.7 in the kick at 48hz in my monte carlo, for you dash n00bs it did a 149.6... probably capable of more - it was a minute or so after i metered in the kick, not enough time to recover.

Ive also done a 147.7 in a crappy box with one type S 12 in the trunk... and i need to give one 12 a shot in the blazer, see what happens.

meca and usaci are the 2 most popular orgs.

dbdrag, slap, and iasca all use dash sealed up but all 3 combined doesnt = MECA and usaci as far as membership and attendance.

dbdrag is most known, but not the most "popular" with competitors and definitely not the fastest growin.

yea, one type R 12 149.6 on the second burp.

4 T2 15s and only 135db, i would of died laughing, there are people with single 10 that easily hit higher than that, prolly a couple single 8s that hit higher than that

Holy crap !!! My 2 12" SQ woofers hit 137db and I thought that was a little under what they were capable of .

blazer likes the dash more, it would be easily pulling a 150 if i got all my equipment back and threw it in. Not on this weak bat, but on ANYTHING stronger.

MECA membership and entry fees are also cheaper... and IMO its also much more fun for the spectator. I think the rules are more common sense and very fair.
