Well, its time to start running again.

I run everyday at crew practice about 2-3 miles so its not bad but sometimes we're on concrete and asphalt and sometimes we're on a trail. I wear saucony omni's that a local running shop helped fit to my fit. I used to have foot and ankle problems and now they're all gone.
I don't think I'll ever run enough to get a "running high"
Yea the shoe shop I went to helped fit my shoes. Turns out one of my feet is 1/2 size bigger than the other. They said thats actually pretty common.

 
I usually run a mile or two a day and ride my bike for three or for afterwards. Trying to lose weight, ftl...but it works out in the end because my lady likes it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

I'm just getting ready to kick out the ol' running shoes for the first time this year. I wonder how out of shape I am cardio wise.

How many runners do we have here?

What is your style? The track? Treadmill? or just outside wherever like parks, sidewalks etc...?

What shoes do you wear?

I prefer a track or running outside in parks. I can't stand treadmills. And I wear nike pegasus's(sp?)
I usually run the buffalo bike path but turn around at about 2 1/2 miles, that's what smoking 4 three years does too you(BTW: im only 6'1 155lbs, so i think i should be doing better.), But im proud of myself i quit three months ago and trying to get in shape, just didn't realize how hard it is to get at the point i was at in high school (I was a fast mofo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )

Almost pasted out the first time i tired jogging with a buddy.

Ive been smoking the ganja for years and it doesn't seem take much of a toll on my Running or weight lifting.

However, cigs thats an entirely different story, congrats on quitting.

 
ran track in high school but only did sprints. i got a gym membership a few months ago and started out with a warm-up mile, weights, and a cool-down mile. after a few weeks i kicked it up to 2 mile runs before and after weights (unless i worked my legs, then its just a 2 mile warm up). now its kinda random and depends on how much energy i have. its usually 2-4 miles each day i work out (4 days a week).

I ride a bike, my knees would implode if I ran I think......

I enjoy the bike however, can't wait till the workweek ends and I can go get a good ride in. Got an old-school schwinn that I mess around with.

 
Just got back from a nice 3 mile run. I forgot how good running feels. I also ran into a girl I used to freak a long time ago, I havent seen her in a long time. I'm supposed to chill with her later on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif And if I do hang with her tonight I can guarantee I'll be getting some!

 
I started running yesterday...I ran maybe only 10 blocks total...but for the first day since last september, that's pretty good lol.

It also snowed Friday night and hasn't been that warm so running in the low thirties isn't fun...

As soon as it gets even warmer I'll be running more. I need to get some running shoes too though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif the ones I was wearing yesterday are too small now.

 
I've also been doing a lot of fast paced and endurance jump roping. Jump roping is the shit. Although sometimes I use it as an excuse not to run //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. But after todays run I realized how much I like running.
