walmart returning item ?

I bought a dvd a few days ago and watched it once... If the plastic is off the case can i take it back and get a chargeback on my credit card? Say if i say the kind of dvd it is wouldnt work on my dvd player?

They wont let u return open movies or games... If you argue ur way they might let u exchange it.

if you exchange it for the same copy. try to get it with the plastic still on. then just take the new copy to antoher walmart and exchange it./refund it. hehehehehe

dunno. i don't have a walmart down here. i have a friend that would buy a game and try to beat it in like 2 days. then retun it saying it wasn't working properly. then get it exchanged for a new copy. then he would go to another best buy 30 minutes away and get his money back. where he used to live there were 3 BB's in short distances so he would just alternate stores.

after i looked at my credit card account tonight its saying i only have $4 left and i dont want it to go over....theres no way there should be $4 left so something went wrong somewhere :sigh:

i looked up the policy and a dvd has to be unopened to return. I might try to change it out tomorrow...

you can go to walmart and say "i need to return my tv but i forgot to bring it. i promise ill bring it in tomorrow" and theyll issue you a cash refund right there. its unbelievable. walmart FTW.

Instead of wasting $10 in gas driving there, pickup the phone and call them. Explain that it won't work on your dvd player and you would like to return it. All they can say is yes or no.
