Bottom line is this .... I enjoy performance cars and high end audio.

the vette, albeit a z06 or standard, is indeed made for the track. and the strip. and the street.

I know it can handle all those environments, but what I was trying to get accross was that it would be a waste of such a beautiful car just run it up and down the track. Its sweet LOOKING car and should be out on the open road in my opinion which by the way was all my post was.

The rest of it I neither know or care about...but saywhat?, are you of the opinion that an '06 Z06 can't get in the Nines??? Certainly stock or even with a 150 shot of spray (if that's the only mod done to it) it isn't gonna run anywhere near that hard. But I have no doubts 9s can be made to happen with the right upgrades.

i wouldnt do the nitrous, specially a 150 shot unless the engine is built for it.which it probly is. but i would put a turbo with a liquid cooled intercooler or a blower on it. swap some headers on it electric cut outs, high flow cats, and flowmasters out back.

why buy it if your not going to use it for it's intended purpose? kinda like how you avoided my comment on the jeep. that's it's intended purpose, cruise to the strip (or track) run hard and cruise home. and yes, it will look good doing all of it.

my point? like mentioned above, if you're going to buy the vehicle and not use it for it's intended purpose, buy something else. whether or not blue owns the car, or will, isn't an issue. but his purposed idea is indeed what the car was designed for. albeit sans NOS.

anyway...

the NOS will probably void the warranty for the majority of the motor and intake. and most factory motor's(h.o. motors) can indeed handle a 150 shot fairly easily.

I guess I've always looked at vettes as a cruiser and a looker, NOT a racer. It is after all a passenger vehicle regardless of what it is capable of. That being said, cruising around is one of its intended purposes. If I were to purchase a vehicle of this calibur and spent that much money on it I surely wouldn't be driving it at a track but thats just me. Does that mean I shouldn't buy it......hell no. And no I didn't ignore your jeep comment, I just decided NOT to pay it any attention.
