I WAS planning on building my box today, but last night my suburban got broke into and i got had.....took my fusion amp, the 18" AQ HDC318 i JUST got, and a big craftsman tools set! I hate people that cant get off there lazy *** , and get a job to buy shit, instead of talking everyone elses!!! well, i doubt ill be able to get another setup together, as in money is REALLY tight.....so yea, im just ranting, and being pissed off. Thanks bobtista for helping me with the box design...but i guess now its not needed! thanks for listening, Ed

you don't have to have full coverage to your steroe covered lots of companies now offer addition coverage for stereo theft you just have to ask or tell your agent you want it like my allstate covers an addition 2000.00 for equipment not installed in a factory location. so my sub and amps are covered if someone gets in and snatches them

to the op whether or not to use your home or auto coverage would be best to ask your agent he is the only one that would know your policies and be able to answer your question best.
