Its not that much cheaper these days ( $0.36/ft cheaper to 0.02/ft cheaper when comparing the various colors to our cables) and your getting a second rate product. The jacket is neoprene and the copper is typically a lower grade since they do not expect you to use the cable in a harsh envirment like a car.

Saving $6 over a 20ft run is not exactly a big savings.
