The welding cable wire is smaller than regular 1/0.

Buy 2/0, it will still be cheaper than "audio" 1/0.

I dont understand why everybody orders it online- my city isnt that big, and we have four welding supply shops. If you have one, just go there. The wire is no more than $1.50 a foot here, and no shipping charges, no waiting.

When was the last time you checked that price? Copper is on a rollercoaster ride right now, currently on the second hill going up. Lets hope the second hill is smaller.

If we thought making welding cable would be good for our business. It would have been done by now. But the lower quality copper combined with a neoprene jacket is bad news in terms of life expectancy and we know this. We will not sell an item that we know will fail in a short period of time. And by fail I mean oxidize and cause voltage loss.

I am all for folks getting a good deal on any product, just know that there are real differences in the cables. Just like there is "Marine Grade" cable, which our Kolossus Kable would fall under since it is tinned OFC. Copper and Salt Water is a very bad combination

hmmm i'm getting a constant 14.5 volts at my amp and my car hasn't started on fire so i say welding cable is doing a-ok
