Q-1. Can I run the remote wire from Cig lighter to AMP 1, From AMP 1 to AMP 2. Using a relay at the Cig lighter?

Q-2. Should I place a 3/4" MDF spacer between the AMP and where I am mounting it to, for better cooling?

its a 12V constant when the car is on, and OFF when the car is off, Plus i'm using OEM HU.

Dont be lazy and either 1. Het a new HU, or 2. Find an aftermarket harness for your HU....running it off the cig lighter is a little ghetto

If the cigarette lighter is controlled by the key switch, then there's no reason you can't use it for amp turn-on; but I'd tap the wires behind the lighter socket instead of using a plug. Yes, you can daisy-chain the wire from the first amp to the second amp. There would be no need for a relay.

Lazy is the least of my worries, 1) The HU I want costs $2K DVD/Navigation/30Gig HD, Not a flip out screen...This is not exactly pocket change. 2) Never thought of it as an option...Kudos

If I was to tap into the power anttena then the amps would only power up when the HU was in Radio. So thats not going to work since i would rather listen to 1 cd (mixed by me) continously than the radio. The switch would still need a 12V to come from somewhere.

A last the answer I have been waiting for, No realy and daisy-chain is good.. As for the cigaret lighted, well i just tapped into the wire in the back, i wasn't planing on useing a plug.

Will post pictures of the install later on today, I worked on it from about 9am to 3pm... Probably slow for some people but since i was working on it on the side of my building I was very conservivavly removing panalind and sealts, etc.... Don't need the goods stolen.
