Welcome, my friends, to what is my biggest (literally) project yet.

Always my luck.

I need to find me a Sugar Mama //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Or at least a better job.

You want some pics of the sealed sub? I'll take some right now then. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
No, I think he wanted to see pics of your wood. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i'll throw in my 2 cents. I have a 10x10' dorm room. Using an onkyo tx-sr503 I was able to blast people out of the room easily. I have 2 floorstanding 3-way pioneers from the early 90's, and my roommate had 2 floorstanding 3 ways he bought on ebay (mix and matched components) along with some boston acoustics speakers in a self-built center channel. My favorite part was that I had an old RF punch 1 8" laying around, so I hooked it up to an older tx-36 and had a dedicated sub receiver (it came in handy, living in the dorms I could shut the sub off and on whenever).

Listening to that thing pound in 5.1 dolby from the xbox 360 was fun as hell, and I got noise complains from 2 floors above and below me because I was rattling their ceiling tiles.

Finally! Pics of the subs! Note my thread in this forum about the paint improperly curing. You'll see the results of that in the sealed box all over, and on the port side of the ported box. Onto las pinturas:

Now onto the new ported one (which is staying):

I'm just waiting on my cap and inductor to get here so I can make a sub crossover for it. I'm splitting the signal from the preamp into my behringer, but as you can guess, the signal is still full range. That poses problems for everything because the sub tries to get voices and everything which ends up muddying up the sound. So I'm making a small sub x-over tomorrow and will post again on the results. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

WTF is this free hosting bullshit? I paid for an imageshack acct //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

edit: Nvm, fixed it

Thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As for the surround, I bought the sub from 97cavy for a ****ing ridiculous deal because the surround was damaged (scuff between 2 and 3oclock, and the hole at 5 which was filled with silicone, which is also the excess that you see as the dark spot around 4 oclock). Makes no audible difference whatsoever though. Sounds like God. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Makes sense brotha. Where you going to school, because I see you live in Indy, but your sig makes me think you're going to IUPUI or Purdue for engineering?
