weird wiring harness-need help

my dad is installing a small system in his 89 mercedes 300SEL and im "in charge" of getting everything ready to order as well as installing it all. My first question is after finding the correct wiring harness, it's unlike any harness i've ever used in my installs (common everyday cars). So i guess my question is how do I wire this up? The deck being used is a pioneer 4600mp and here's a pic of the harness:

Quite simple really. The main harness piece, red, yellow, orange, and black is your power. Ground, 12+ switched, 12+ battery, and im not sure about the last one. Looks like they're all labeled.

The other 4 are for the speakers. Should probably just plug into each of the speaker connectors behind the dash. Thats the way I see it.

looks funny but looking at the wireing colors its the same as any regular one the big one is ur power, ground , mem , ill and the other 4 is ur speakers or wut he said, didnt see dat

looks simple,the speakers are color coded,and so are the power,switced power ,ground and illumination

so it's the same as a regular harness, just built/looks a little different?

what about a dash trim kit? I've seen the universal kits but how good are these??

yeah the wiring harness is pretty straight forward,the dash kit are good if put together right.

Universal harnesses are crap.

Your main problem is going to be identifying the speaker plugs; they're all the same plug type and the factory color codes won't match the aftermarket harness. Furthermore, you typically only find two speaker outputs at the older Mercedes head units; they run through the fader control on the console. You'll have to dig deeper to find separate front and rear connectors.
