just putting my stuff into my new vehicle. I'm running the fronts active off the four channel and the rears off the deck. So i got the deck in yesterday and just hooked up the rears and tonight i got the rest done. I go to put the fuse in the power wire and nothing plays except the rears. Weird thing is they play at the same volume whether it 1 or 25. Without the fuse they are fine. The amplifier's ground is unhooked so its not a grounding issue with this.

I put in new battery terminals and the pxa701 processor. That is hooked up with optical and then the power for that comes out of the distro block from the power wire.

Any idea what the problem is? I'm just too tired to think about it.

you unhook the ground and wonder why the amp doesnt play?

no no no. I unhooked the ground for the amp(runs the fronts) and the back speakers (running off deck power) still play at full volume whether its volume 1 -35. So grounds have nothing to do with it, unless its the battery ground or h/u ground.

after doing some manual reading i think i got it figured it out. Has to do with the h/u and processor.

Why are you running rears? IMO takes away from running active if you're getting interference from back to front.
