Weird speaker problem

Just bought a car, it has the mach 460 sound system.

It is playing very strange

Both rear speakers get louder, then quiet. When it does this, there is a static noise..."Khhhh"

The speakers are powered by 2 of the mach or ford amps

I'm confused, what would cause this?

sounds like a blown speaker.

The passenger rear speker will do it, and then after some seconds or minutes , it switches to the other speaker, no pattern.

probably a wiring problem....could be rear stock amp...or just wires touching will do that
