weird rca accident

A piece of my cheapo RCA cable got stuck inside my amp when i took the amp out to test my bros amp.

The metal from in is shoved in just far enough to where I cant reach it. Amp is a cadence TXA-300.4. I opened it up and there is no access to the inside of the rca output.

I can take some pics if this doesnt make sense.

Just get a new RCA Jack..

the thing is its soldered and connected other ways to the main board of the amp. not sure if i wanna mess with all that.

He needs to tear apart his amp to do this and have soldering skills.

i dont think i can. the rca thing is closed in so i would have to bend the metal back which could potentially destroy the whole thing.

this happened to me before.... take the cover off the amp and you should be able to stick something in the back off the rca jack to push it out. (ie. toothpick paper clip ect.)

IIRC my RCA's cost me about $125~ a little over 8 years ago. Still have them and they still work great! IDK what anyone says, Monster Cable makes (or at least did) some good shit!

best idea yet, i need to find some bits and screws that are small enough however.

If you mess up the amps RCA (4-prong) , I have new ones here. Can send you another ($10 shipped if it is a match, looks like it) . But would still do the superglue and toothpick. And there should be a way to get it with a needle or tiny paperclip on the other side. I have removed a lot of broken RCA's over the years, and either remove with SG and toothpick, or push from the backside. (if hole is not on backside, do the drill). But the toothpick and SG should work fine. Just don't use much, and don't touch anything but the broken part...

so i take superglue, apply it to the tip of a toothpick and stick it on the rca wait for it to dry, then pull it?
