weird noise question

ok, so heres the deal. i recently put some RE components in my gf's car, and an eclipse ea4000 amp to power them and the kicker 6x9s in the back. the problem is, i am getting an odd noise from the speakers. at first i thought it was alternator whine, but i have grounded the rca's to the chassis of the radio and it didnt fix it, grounded the HU to the frame, and re grounded the amp, none of this helps. i also tried some different rca's and that didnt work. the noise is only present when the vehicle is running, when its off, it sounds great.

heres the kicker though, the noise goes away when i change the pass on the amp to low, im not sure if the amp is just passing the signal where i cant hear it or it is fixing it, either way, that makes it go away, but obviously i cant run it like that.

so im turning to u guys for help. any ideas? any help is appreciated.
