Weird noise from subs

Well I just got my new Audiobahn A1500HCT amp,wired it in to the bandpass ABP122T sub box,turned it on and looked sweet all lit up in blue,,but when the engine was started and the volume all the way down I'm getting a noise from the subs only,I unhook the rca's and the noise goes away.It's drove me nuts,,can't figure it out,,sounds good otherwise.I didn't have this problem with my Fusion amp but for some odd reason I do now,,any suggestions.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

what head unit do you have? model#

pioneer DEH-P6700MP,,I don't think its the HU,,didn't do it with the fusion amp,,all I changed was the amp,,maybe I'm wrong,,dunno

pioneer head units some times do that try a ground loop insolater

And how do I do that,,If I might ask,,is it the wire around the rca connectors thing I saw in here.Still why didn't it do it before with the Fusion amp,,

Do you still have the Fusion amp? , Install it and c if it still makes the noise.

Also you can't expect much out of Audiobahn bro

do some testing to see if the rca's are at fault....most likely you didn't remove the battery - before working and popped the pico

I did remove the battery before installing it ,,and yes I have the fusion still tried it and it doesn't do it with the fusion,,but does with the audiobahn,,whats the pico????

the rca shielding is protected by a pico fuse on the pioneer boards...if you pop the fuse, you get noise.....the fusion may have an isolator built in to the inputs to eliminate noise on the shielding:idea:
