Weird noise coming through my speakers

Well, I went out and bought a 600 watt spl amp for my 4 pioneer 4-way 6x8's...I hooked it up to my amplifier that runs my subs and everything and tuned in the xovers. Everything sounds nice when my car is off, but when its running, I get this noise through my door speakers that is exact to the revving of my engine. I believe that my power wire coming from my battery that runs my amps is picking up interferance from my engine..is this correct? and is there a way to fix this problem somehow? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I know the ground from the amplifier that powers my subs to my frame is good because I checked it with a voltmeter and i'm getting 12 volts. When I hooked the amp up for my door speakers, I ran a power, ground, and remote over from my subwoofers amplifier to my door speakers amplifier and the ground wire I ran from amp to amp is sortof skinny..could this be the problem?
