i just did some practices situps putting my legs on the couch and i did 30 before i started sensing any fatigue. should i put a weight on my chest and do it?

im 5FT 8" and weigh 182 lbs i use to be at 228 i lost alot of weight and i started workin out alot and running alot but my bench right now is 225lbs and im tryin to get alot more but it just seems not to be workin lol but i got to say the best thing i like in workin out is military bench press and squats
