weight lifting

hey, it's better than nothing. the only thing is- you're using some of those muscles to stand up in the shower. doesn't do much good to soak them in hot water while working them. if you've got a membership to the YMCA, i'd suggest working out there. they've got a hottub.
nearest ymca is about 80 miles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i try and work out atleast 4 days a week. or every other day. switching between upper and lower body. but i do cardio every day. a 1/2 mile before i workout, and 1/2-1 mile after i'm done lifting. but the problem with me is i can't seem to put on weight, i mean i've gained like 8-10 lbs since i've started working out, but i've always been little, i guess it's just my metabolism; though i am starting to get definition and more strength. i need that mody mass to put on more muscle. anybody got any suggestions?

Protein, protein, and more protein!! you want to take in around 1.5 times your body weight if you serious about gaining heavy muscle and weight..Trust me it will happen...Could consider a weight gainer for on cycle, say 4-6 weaks,,,then cut down with that mass you gained

also i heard you should let your muscles rest between reps. what do you do in that time between?
Work out different muscles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Switch in between reps.

Arms then legs.

Legs then abs.

Arms then abs.

Don't just sit there, keep your heart rate going, and keep your muscles moving.

I'm the same way, fast metabolism, gym everyday.. Just eat alot of chicken and food that is high in protein. The most important time of the day to get the protein for someone with a fast metabolism is in the morning before the gym, after the gym and then before you go to bed so it sticks with you all night.
good tip. so what if i go to the gym in the afternoon/nighttime like around 6 everyday? should i eat alot of protein for breakfast?(i work 3am-9am btw)which would be at like 230, or after work? which would be at like 930? i usually eat before i go to bed. i guess i need to get more foods with more proteinsthan, cuase i eat just about anything

weight gainer? as in a supplement? should i take that as i'm still working out? also, whatare some good foods that i can make/get that are high inprotein besides chicken?

it's ok to stop for a drink of water every once in a while, but don't just sit there. keep the muscles warm. if you take a break, you'll lose any progress from the effort you've already put forth. you'd have to do more cardio and stretch again before continuing.

i sure as hell don't want to gain weight lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Yeah, but I didn't have alot of fat to lose. If you have fat, it might help you lose some of it, while packing on some muscle... just something you should look into/read up on.

icetee, my friend...taking advice on here about weightlifting is about as smart as taking advice from below 30 on sub enclosures. You know better than that.
