weight lifting

Ive been weight training for 8 solid weeks now...3-4 times a week. Personally if you looking for your biggest gains, simply eat healthy, eat plenty of meals,,small meals during the deay. (keeps your metabolism up) , cardio, and lift 3 times a week. Any questions, let me know...Ive increased my bench 95 lbs. in just 8 weeks.

"no pain, no gain"

GL ICE, I feel ya. I've gotta start working out too. Been a while since I have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i try and work out atleast 4 days a week. or every other day. switching between upper and lower body. but i do cardio every day. a 1/2 mile before i workout, and 1/2-1 mile after i'm done lifting. but the problem with me is i can't seem to put on weight, i mean i've gained like 8-10 lbs since i've started working out, but i've always been little, i guess it's just my metabolism; though i am starting to get definition and more strength. i need that mody mass to put on more muscle. anybody got any suggestions?

carbs.

there's no need for the second round of cardio. just make sure you stretch your muscles out when you're done with everything. and hop in hot water.
all we got at my house is a stand up shower, not tub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

And why on Earth do you feel the need to ask a question like this on a CarAudio website? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
why do you feel you need to flex your traps and take a picture of yourself.. dont knock on a *** you ***...

I'd switch off in work out days, and in actual work outs.

For example, one day you might do..

Bench Press

Abs

Bench Press

Abs

Bench Press

Abs

etc... do rotations, and try to do abs in between just about everything. It'll hurt like no other, but it works out pretty good. When you've done a set of bench presses, don't just sit there. If your abs are too sore, work out something else.

You gotta work on your core to have any strength, so abs are important.

And as far as switching days, one day you should do Upper Body, the next maybe do legs, and then switch back to upper body, rinse, lather, and repeat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you're really looking to beef up your muscles, look into a protein diet. Eat protein bars, protein shakes, eat a lean chicken or steak for dinner. Focus more on actual work outs, and less on cardio too. I usually did a 25 minute max on the bike or treadmill, just so I could build a bigger figure.

i'm glad that this topic has been brought up...i haven't lifted in years because i broke my back and sadly i went from being one of the bigger ones in my grade now to being skinny to average size. i'm about to get on anthony ellis's workout plan http://www.fastmusclegain.com and become VERY VERY dedicated to it. this next semester of school is my last in h/s so it's gonna be laidback for the most part so all i'm going to be focusing on is caraudio and working out...oh yea cant forget the *****es too

hey, it's better than nothing. the only thing is- you're using some of those muscles to stand up in the shower. doesn't do much good to soak them in hot water while working them. if you've got a membership to the YMCA, i'd suggest working out there. they've got a hottub.

I'm the same way, fast metabolism, gym everyday.. Just eat alot of chicken and food that is high in protein. The most important time of the day to get the protein for someone with a fast metabolism is in the morning before the gym, after the gym and then before you go to bed so it sticks with you all night.
