okay, so me and my gf just got into this big argumentshe used to smoke weed.. alright w/e.. i dont like it, never have

i think its a waste of time, money, and brian cells

id have always said id rather spend my time and money on car audio..

anyway

she hasnt done it for like 3 months since her borthday cause i said i didnt want her to

well tonight, we started to fight about it cause she wanted to go out w/ some friends and do it

and i said no, i dont want her being around ish like that, its illegal, i dont care

so she said, fine, if i cant smoke, then no car audio

she is tring to tell me i have to sell everyhting i own and shit..

w/e.. i asked her how its the same and she said "well, yer system is illegal too, you almost got arrested for it"

and im just like.. alright w/e.. and said i have to sell my touchscreen too because it had to do w/ my system

and i said, well, the 2 subs im putting in yer car isnt illegal is it? 2 6.5's.. yea okay

i mean, i guess im being a lil unreasonable not letting her smoke, but in all honesty, i just dont like the shit.. it pisses me off just thinking about her doing that..

on top of that, she got pissed at me last month because i wouldnt let her go to a 25 yr old guys house for beer pong (she was 16), but in her defence, she has gotten better w/ that..

Dude im the same ****ing way I tell my gf ill drop her if i ever catch her smoking because first off all thats just nasty for a girl to do, its not lady like, second its illegal and third her ex bf does it everyday and that just pisses me off.

I thought the same thing but she is in a drug program and has been for the past 2 years and most of the people in there are ther for weed. It may not be as addictive as some other drugs but it still has addictive traits.

That is something I looked for when I used to date and I would never date a chick who didn't do it (at least not seriously or more than hitting it every once in a while) so it seems like you guys are setting yourselves up for failure?

maybe instead of trying to be some sort of parental figure and telling her you forbid her to smoke you should try actually sitting down and discussing it like mature people. I know if someone came to me and said you cant do "this" because i forbid it it would make me resent them and want to do it more. You may have better luck having a mature conversation about it rather than trying to control her.

My issue really isn't that I hate it that much, I hate how it can f*** up peoples priorities. I've bought it for her many times but she needs to get her stuff together first. Smoking at home once you get off of work is cool with me, but before and after is another thing.

I live right across the street from St. Johns University. I love car audio, but I rather kids in the neighborhood quietly toke than the audio aholes who crank too late. If pot is abused and becomes a real detriment to her life then get involved but not like its about you.

Toasted, I like you mang, but I have quit a few friends who are "hooked" on pot. Have been for years and they try to quit, but just like it too much as it chills them out or whatever they say. They always have an excuse and I have seen it with my own eyes.

Don't you constantly smoke the ish? Do you think you could just up and quit if you wanted too? I have heard it 1000 times and then I see them with a joint in their mouth. Only person I really know who kicked it for good, was my mom, lol! Parents are the ultimate hippes!

my ideas of a good time, is just hanging w/ friends outside, bbq's and insatlling car audio

but in all honesty, she has changed, she hasnt gone to a party at the 25 yr old house since i told her how i felt

she did cheat on me one night, well it was "tecnically" cheating, but it was pretty scummy and emotinally cheating

what happend was i woked a doubble 16 hr shift that day and i just got into a fight w/ my mom and it was almost midnight and all i wanted to do was talk to her to get shit out

but she wanted to go out w/ this guy adam and get some movies, and i lost my temper and dumped her

This just continues to show how ignorant people are about weed, and other drugs for that matter. To them the word "drug" is just evil.

Advil, it's a drug. Nicotine, drug. Even chocolate is a drug. Anything that alters your mind in any way is also a drug, so alcohol, drug. So must of you guys are just a bunch of druggies....
