i used a few ring terminals alot of 1/0 gauge thats about it... and of course to know what to connect where

That and 2 fuse holders/fuses. Make sure you do the big 3 if you haven't already.

opps sorry i forgot... i prefer anl fuse blocks... i have bad luck with barrel inline fuses plastic always seems to break when changing fuses

OK,big 3...got it.Can I ask why those are upgraded though?I understand the ground but why the starter cable?

The big 3 should upgrade the alt to batt wire, engine ground, and batt ground. Alt to batt is upgraded to allow current from the alt move more freely to the battery. Then battery ground is there for a better ground and the engine is, in fact, the alternator's ground. Youtube "the big 3 upgrade" and you've find plenty of vids on the topic. Whether you understand it or not, give it a try and check the results for yourself.
