I am in desperate need of replacing everything in my 94 Integra, but after looking at everything that I want/need, I think that if I were to get it all, it would be a little out of my price range. What I was looking at was:

- Alpine CDA-9856 HU

- Alpine Type-R 6.5 component set for front

- Alpine Type-R 6.5 coax for back

- Alpine 4-3-2 amp to power speakers

- Possibly Bazooka tube sub in the back.

I know it is a lot of Alpine and I just like the sound and the look of the stuff they make. I want crispness and clarity and not thumping bass with ear shattering volume. Hoever, how can I cut back for now to make it more in my price range, keeping in mind the possibility to add to it in the future. I do not want to go with cheap stuff and not like it then have to replace it again. The budget I am looking at is somewhere around the 500 mark for right now. Thanks

Drop the rear fill, and keep stock speakers back there powered off a head unit.

Get a 2 channel amp for the front speakers, about 70 RMS x 2 @ 4 ohm should be plenty.

Don't go the bazooka tube route. It's just not worth it. Check out http://www.mach5audio.com and find a cheap hifonics amp or something, and build your own box.

http://www.knukonceptz.com for all your wiring.

Ditch the rear speakers, keep them stock, you cant hear them over the front anyways.

Bazooka tubes are just about the worst powered subwoofer out there.

The Infinity basslink is much nicer.

Where are you in cailfornia ?

P.S

if you are close and dont have headers ive got some i dont want for a 94 teg

I am in souther california, in the South Bay. So, if I were to not get reat fill, then should I eventually get better rears or just leave the stock ones and put the fade more toward the front? If that is the case, can I power the fronts and a sub from a two channel amp? Thanks and what kind of header and how much?

Just run the rear's off the cd players internal amp. You can get a 4ch amp and bridge the rear channels and get a subwoofer or you can buy a powered subwoofer and use a 2ch amp.

The headers are pace setters, $50 for them, they have some surface rust but its really nothing since i painted them with hi temp paint. You just need a gaskets.

They are carb OE legal too.

Im up in 6 flags

If I could get as much 14 gauge wire as I needed for free, would that work?

4 Pioneer REV coax's off a Profile 4 channel will get plenty loud and be clean doing it. Check millionbuy for prices.

Nothing wrong with a Bazooka for a budget set up as I've used a few before.
