I reinstalled my ZX650.4 today and was really excited and started cranking it (running Kicker SS's 6.5s active off an Alpine 9855). I made a trance/techno cd (as opposed to the Death/Melodic metal that is always playing) and had it up pretty loud. I noticed my tweeters making a cracking sound - sounded like a piece of paper was on top of them when turned up too loud. I assume I can fix this my re-doing my crossover settings.
Here was my xover settings
Amp gains set at 5.5 for mids, 5 for tweeters.
EDIT - Subs are 2 12" W6V2's sealed, off a ZX1000.1
