Way to install sub/amp so it is easy to remove.

I want to install my sub box with amp attached in my 99 Blazer. I want it to be secure but easy to remove if I have to use the back of the truck to haul things. What is best way?

use L brackets and screw it down, you dont want a box flying around if you crash

Use cargo straps to secure the box when it is in there and just unstrap it when you don't need it. You can also use the tiedown when you're hauling other stuff too.

The other and equally if not more important thing to worry about is your power and ground wires. I would suggest something like the SQD4 from Stinger. It will just let you unplug the power and ground at a convenient place and pull the box out.

this is what you will need as far as wires go.

and then use some male\female quick-connects from radio-shack for your REMOTE TURN ON wire, and just unplug your RCA's - make sure you ziptie it all nicely - and put a little velcro loop thing on the back of your seat so you can lock up your wires off the ground of the vehicle while not in use //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
