I hate noise...

Recently i changed my amps..I used to a set of Hifonics(bx2005d and zeus 6400) they were good and i never had a problem with them..now i got a set of Memphis amps(16-mca2004,16-mca500) everything as far of the wirering it`s the same but now i`m getting engine noise...this f**ing thing drives me crazy...any ideas????????

haha imagine that, with hifonics you get no engine noise but the memphis on the other hand...

Double check your RCA ends for damage and check that your ground is good.

i trhink the problem lies in the rca ends, i had to bend then a bit in orther to fit the amp nicely...o well....

my amp was making noise as well check the rcas, and they were bad. upgrading to knu klarity. another is drop a drop of 91% alcohol on the tips of the rcas before inserting them in. this will help with static and give you a solid clarity connection..

huh now? never heard of this, and why 91% alcohol, that really doesnt make sense? What properties does ethanol have that lends to a better connection?
