I posted right at a 142 with 2 rl-ps in a sealed box giving them 600 a piece. This weekend Im trying one in a ported with 1000.

Ive had my RL-ps for a good while now...upgrading to a single Fi BTL 12 in the very very near future.Port both of them, give them ample power, they'll play very loud, i gain a lot of output going from sealed to ported with my rl-p

Box dependent...in a smaller sized sealed box 1.0-1.2 cubes, I would feel safe sending one 1600 or 1700 watts.what does anything think would be TOO much to send to a 12"? i just bought one to try out and mess with, wanted to hear it vs the RE that im putting in my car...

It'll take 1000w, if you're building another box you may as well tune it a little higher, 34-35hz should yield a nice dB increaseCurrently 1.5 @ 34..but going to 2.5 @ 32
I dunno if I'd call that an upgrade, you'll lose sq, and probably output, although I have no experience with the Fi BTLsI know, I have a reg cab truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
