How many watts would you send to a 12" RL-p on a daily basis?

I gave mine about 900, ate it up, alhough I would watch and make sure you aren't giving it a clipped signal if you give it much more than 600ish

I posted right at a 142 with 2 rl-ps in a sealed box giving them 600 a piece. This weekend Im trying one in a ported with 1000.

Port both of them, give them ample power, they'll play very loud, i gain a lot of output going from sealed to ported with my rl-p

what does anything think would be TOO much to send to a 12"? i just bought one to try out and mess with, wanted to hear it vs the RE that im putting in my car...

Currently 1.5 @ 34..but going to 2.5 @ 32

Box dependent...in a smaller sized sealed box 1.0-1.2 cubes, I would feel safe sending one 1600 or 1700 watts.

runing m 2 12's oin 3.5 cube box tune fto 34 hertz and each sub has 800 watts going to it

Give it 1000 watts, keep it clean though

Currently 1.5 @ 34..but going to 2.5 @ 32

It'll take 1000w, if you're building another box you may as well tune it a little higher, 34-35hz should yield a nice dB increase

I dunno if I'd call that an upgrade, you'll lose sq, and probably output, although I have no experience with the Fi BTLs

It may get louder, but won't sound near as good
