my AP pushes the DD pretty hard, the only downside is that it gets a little hot, but it's not a big deal. I ran it 3 hours at full tilt w/o thermal protect so it couldn't be too bad.

i say go with the old school phoenix gold ti 1000.1 or 1200.1 sold on ebay for 500-700 and they are very good clean powerful amp they do alot more then what they say they do.
